What We’re Working On
Here’s what PPAC is focused on right now and how you can be part of it.
Personal PAC is proud to announce that our primary election endorsements for statewide and General Assembly candidates are now live on our website! We know that voters rely on us to be rigorous and thoughtful in our endorsement decisions, and we take that responsibility seriously. We will release our down-ballot endorsements and the full 2026 Primary Election Voter Guide later on in February.
What You Can Do
Your actions make a difference. Here’s how you can help this month.
It is extremely important that we do not lose sight of what is happening in Minnesota and across the country, and keep rejecting and resisting the brutal authoritarian actions of ICE, CBP, and DHS. The pressure is on the Trump administration now as more and more people connect what’s happening on the ground in Minnesota to the broader attacks on our freedoms—from the freedom to protest and voice opposition to the freedom to access basic reproductive health care.
It’s never too late to get plugged into local organizing efforts here in Illinois. Sign up for Eyes On ICE text alerts, which will notify subscribers by zip code in the event of confirmed ICE presence in your neighborhood.
What Brings Us Hope
A reminder that change is possible and you’re not alone in this fight.
As the Trump regime continues attacking access to health care, our champions in Illinois are stepping up to ensure patients can get the care they need. We are so grateful to have leaders like Gov. Pritzker and Lt. Gov. Stratton who continue to stand up for patients and providers in Illinois. Read more here.
I also had the pleasure of being the keynote speaker at the Second Annual Youth Reproductive Justice Summit at Francis Parker High School earlier this month. It brought me so much hope to speak to these students about the work we do at Personal PAC, its intersections with the broader struggle for freedom going on right now, and the ways young people can join the fight.

What We’re Reading
Articles, research, and commentary we think are worth your time.
- ChatGPT is changing the abortion landscape.
- The bottom line, according to abortion and digital rights advocates, is that chatbots and AI can both open doors and put up unnecessary barriers for patients, and it’s an ever evolving landscape.
- Project 2025 architects lay out 2026 policy vision (and it’s a scary one).
- The Heritage Foundation is turning their attention to “saving the American family,” by which they mean taking us all back to the 1700s and using the state to push religion and “traditional family structures.”
- ‘Nightmare’: Woman kept on life support for months due to abortion ban, mother says.
- Further reporting from ABC News on the case of Adriana Smith in Georgia underscores how abortion bans can cause tremendous harm to people in dire medical circumstances.
